Originally launched in 2014, the Victor Sound Foundation plays an important role in the plans for the success, awareness, and growth of musical and recording arts in Camden, New Jersey.

Charged with protecting, preserving and promoting the legacy of recorded and live music in the Camden and Philadelphia area, the Victor Sound Foundation works with area groups to develop, curate, and operate music and recording arts based educational and developmental programming of a permanent or semi permanent nature. A co-publisher of the ‘Empire Of Sound’ book in 2023, Victor Sound Foundation has also been the largest single promoter of Victor’s historic musical industry pedigree in the last decade. The Victor Sound Foundation also promotes music education and appreciation in the greater Camden area through grants to local school districts and non profits with future plans of larger educational developments planned for 2025-2030.
